Chess Box Stunning in its elegant simplicity, the box is of chocolate brown American Walnut, with an integral chessboard of burr walnut and rippled sycamore- just heavenly. Our commitment to quality commands that we individually hand turn each of our Chess Men and Draught Pieces from the classic woods of ebony and box – a feature that is almost unheard of these days. The pieces are housed in an aromatic cedar wood tray that imparts a heady fragrance to the whole. Each is hand finished with natural lacquers and wax and receives our hallmark.
